Job Description: The Local Buyer supports the Sr. Merchandising Manager in coordination and management of locally and regionally grown products and programs within each designated market. Under the direction of the Senior Merchandising Manager, the Regional Buyer will investigate sourcing options by market and coordinate sustainable local programs around products that meet Sprout's standards for quality and food safety. This position will also provide all necessary direction around product ordering, delivery, and merchandising management at retail. Essential Functions Research local and regional grower options for all designated markets within area of responsibility to support a minimum of 15 items during seasonal growing window Working with the Procurement, Accounting, and Food Safety departments, coordinate vendor authorization and set up for designated grower partnerships Collaborate with the Procurement teams for each region to determine approved items as well as delivery mechanism
